Symmetrical Balance

Symmetrical Balance - Like shapes that are repeated on either side of a vertical axis.

This project was done sometime in the fall of 2005 for the class 'Basic Design One'. I don't remember exactly how long it took to make this, but it was probably about six or seven hours. It was made using black construction paper on white drawing paper.

Critique - The finished design, while technically symmetrical, was a bit too radial. It was felt that drawing a line down the middle & changing the corners would make the image less radial.

Grade - I got a point marked off for the radial aspect of the design, but I still got an A.
