Young Anakin

This picture is my Anime rendition of a young Anakin Solo from Star Wars. For those of you who don't read the Star Wars novels, Anakin is the youngest son of Princess Leia and Han Solo. Please don't confuse this Anakin with the Anakin who was Luke's father, though they do look A LOT alike. I wonder if that was on purpose. Hmm....

It was drawn in the summer of 2001. It was colored entirely using colored pencils. I was reading a bunch of Star Wars novels at the time that I drew this. Originally it was just a doodle. I was practicing different drawing techniques and really liked the way this one came out. I also didn't edit anything on it digitally, which is unusual for me. I kind of like it as is.
