Fushigi Yuugi Easter

This picture is an edited version of a drawing I did for an on-line contest. The theme was Fushigi Yuugi and Easter.

The original was drawn..... well... I don't really remember exactly when, but judging by way I drew/colored it I'd say it was the spring of 2000. The pencil drawing was inked using my Millennium pens. It was colored entirely using my 'scratch off' method. As always, it came out crappy. Guess that's why I didn't win =p. .... Actually, if I remember correctly, some Hentai picture of Nakago won. Who says sex doesn't sell ^_~.

Sooo... After sitting in a tube for several years I ran across my 'lovely creation' ::HA!!!:: And decided to recolor it a bit with my new digitizer pad. ((I got a Wacom pad in the fall of 2003 and I LOVE IT.)) I figured I couldn't mess up the coloring job any more than I had already. So I pretty much painted over every inch of the characters. The original version only had a white background, so I created this one digitally by playing around with a bunch of tools in Photopaint that I had NO CLUE how worked. This updated picture was finished in the fall of 2003.

Though my originally version had A LOT to be desired, I kind of like the way this one turned out.
