Tamahome

This is a picture of Tamahome from the anime Fushigi Yuugi.

It was drawn in January of 2001. It was colored using my 'scratch off' method for the skin and colored pencils for the rest. The back ground was added digitally. This is on of my first attempts at combining 2 different pictures into one final work. I originally going to draw both views of him in one picture, but I had a hard time deciding on what pose to put him in and where to place him in relation to the bigger ' head only' view of him. So I drew them separately and combined them later.

I had to resize this picture to fit on the page and it lost a bit of the finer details in the process, but overall I think it turned out well.
