The Misu Sisters

This is a picture of Tira and Chocolate from The Sorcerer Hunters. It was drawn in December of 2000 as a gift for a friend of mine.

Dan always gave me endless encouragement in my drawings no matter how bad I thought they were. I once did this really rough Poke'mon picture at the laundromat for my nephew and somehow while showing it to him he thought I was giving it to him. He seemed happy that I would give him one of my drawings and I felt really bad when I had to inform him that I had already given that to my nephew and just had it so I could color it. (Which I STILL haven't gotten around to doing. ~.~) So I decided that I'd draw a picture especially for him. I asked if he had any requests and him, being a little hentai boy at heart ^_~, requested I do a picture of Chocolate. I had been 'educating' him a little on the world of anime/manga and he was intrigued by her suspenders. I decided to throw in Tira as a bonus.

While drawing this I combined elements of both the Manga and Anime versions of them, so this isn't purely a fan picture of one style or the other. I colored this picture using my 'scratch off' method for the skin coloring and colored pencils and ink for the rest. This is, so far, the ONLY picture that I haven't had to edit or add anything digitally on. I really like how it came out, thought I kind of wonder if I made Chocolate's shoulders a bit too wide.
